Posted: 25 Apr 2011 11:02 AM PDT   Bom, como muitos já sabem, a sensacional banda norte-americana de surf-music, Los Straitjackets esteve no Brasil, tocando na Virada Cultural, na cidade de São Paulo, no dia 17 de abril de 2011. O show deles, para variar, foi excepcional.   As músicas tocadas foram: Outta Gear, Rockula, Casbah, Rampage, Tempest, Kawanga, Munsters Theme, University Blvd, Soulfinger, Calhoun Surf, Itchy Chicken, Midnight Cowboy, Batman Theme / Wipe Out e Tequila
  Estive muito bem acompanhado neste evento musical de alguns dos internos do hospício psicodélico da internet (foto abaixo), também chamado de Lágrima Psicodélica. Encontro histórico de um bando de blogueiros que se conhecem virtualmente há anos, mas pessoalmente, só agora.
 (da esquerda para a direita: Cacá, Rabablues, Ande, Minduim Mateus e Lola)  Interessante foi notar que o show do Los Straitjackets, inicialmente não possuía um grande público. No entanto, foi só começar a sonzeira que o local entupiu de gente! Foi demais!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ah!, as fotos foram tiradas pelo nosso Robert Capa, Mr. Rabablues. Gravei um monte de vídeos, mas ficaram ruins, infelizmente. Mas no You Tube já têm bastante material, com boa qualidade. Se alguém se interessar em ouvir a sonoridade de uma das melhores bandas dos últimos anos, a discografia deles está aqui. Bom, vou indo que estou me preparando psicologicamente para o dia que vier Mr. Dick Dale tocar por aqui. Espero que seja na Virada Cultural de 2012.  |
